Step 1: Attach the power cord of the printer to power outlet.

Step 2: Press the switch button on the rear of the printer and then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.

Step 1: Plug in the cable and power outlet of printer on your Windows computer (may not be necessary) [Note: If you have an HP Deskjet 3050 printer, you are recommended to switch on USB port of your computer before connecting it]
